After passing the NHIE, you are required to complete 30 hours of pre-licensing platform training and participate in at least 10 live inspections under an approved in-field trainer.

Attend a report writing seminar provided by an LSBHI-approved provider to enhance your reporting skills.

Obtain Insurance
Louisiana home inspectors must carry at least $300,000 in Errors and Omissions coverage and $300,000 in General Liability coverage, with maximum deductibles of $5,000.
